Using Screenreader

This website has integrated controls that provide for a greater user experience for all who visit our site. The smart user interface which sits in the bottom right hand corner of the screen is outlined in the following image.

Before looking at the specific elements of the Screen Reader toolbar in summary in allows:

  • On-screen text to be converted to audio and read back to the site visitor.
  • For the size of on-screen text to be increased or decreased to meet the needs of the visitor
  • The changing of the on-screen contrast scheme to suit the visitors needs.

The Volume Controls

 The volume control is represented by six bars as highlighted in red below.

Please note that the volume controls work in tandem with your computer speaker volume control. Once you use your computers main volume controls to set the desired volume level you can tweek it by clicking on any of the six bars. Click the bars towards the right to increase the volume and towards the left to decrease it.
